(1) The Senate may award University Medals in recognition of outstanding academic merit in programs leading to an award of degrees specified in Award of University Medals Procedure. (2) This Policy applies to all students at The University of Queensland. (3) Graduates who meet the eligibility criteria for the award of a University Medal, as specified in Award of University Medals Procedure, may be nominated by the Executive Dean of the Faculty for the award of a University Medal. The nomination will be submitted to the Committee for Academic Programs Policy for approval and referral to the Academic Board for noting and to the Vice-Chancellor for sign-off.Award of University Medals Policy
